Hans Utter - Sitar (India)

This is a performance of Hindustani music (traditional North Indian classical music), featuring two of the most popular instruments in India, the sitar and tabla. The music performed is known as raga, which are specific melodies related both to emotions, the seasons, and spiritual expression. The melodies are elaborated in the form of compositions, set to rhythmic cycles known as talas. Jim Feist will perform the tabla.
